mica is a professional vocalist, actor, and music director based in Southern California.
mica utilizes a variety of vocal effects and styles in their singing and teaching.
mica’s approach to voice pedagogy and audition coaching is informed by years of training as a cross-over singer in a range of styles, including contemporary commercial music (jazz, musical theater, pop, rock, etc.); opera theater; and ‘classical’ music, such as art song, oratorio, and 18th- to 21st-century Western European styles.
mica teaches functional singing that incorporates joyful movement and taps into the mind/body/soul connection.
mica’s studio is a gender-affirming space.
